Our Story
The OzAngel Program is a safety initiative to help provide a safe environment where all women can feel protected whilst within Bars, Clubs and Hotels.
Initially created for the Central Queensland area and implemented within the Rockhampton Region in April 2021, the program was supported by Rockhampton Police and Rockhampton Regional Council. Since this time, the program has expanded and is now implemented within venues from the Whitsundays to the Sunshine Coast and west to Baralaba, Blackwater and Toowoomba.
The program has gained further support from other Local Police and Council’s, as well as the initiative being supported by the Queensland Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (OLGR) and promoted on their website.
There is no cost involved for venues as all flyers can be downloaded and printed from the site for easy implementation, along with other resources such as the OzAngel Program Procedure Manual, which may offer extra support to venues.

Based in Rockhampton, our fearless leader strives to create safe spaces and environments for women within Australia.

Based in Brisbane, Brittney takes care of all our digital and web design needs. Focusing on developing on-brand creative solutions; she's there using the latest digital programs to develop our materials and web content. With a background in digital media and animation, she's always ready to design.
Lachy Pearce
Social Media & Marketing
Based in Brisbane and recently graduating from Uni, Lachy brings his bright digital insight to the team as our social media and marketing wonderkid. Tackling our social channels, and marketing plans, he's striving to get the OzAngel Program out into the world.
